1.Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Australian Grand Prix (Works) Regulations 1995[1] for the period specified in regulation 3.
2.Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.
3.Extension of operation
The operation of the Australian Grand Prix (Works) Regulations 1995 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 8 May 2006.

1. General Information
The Subordinate Legislation (Australian Grand Prix (Works) Regulations 1995 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2005, S.R. No. 26/2005 were made on 3 May 2005 by the Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Tourism, under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994, No. 104/1994 and came into operation on 3 May 2005.
The Subordinate Legislation (Australian Grand Prix (Works) Regulations 1995 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2005 will sunset 10 years after the day of making on 3 May 2015 (see section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994).
2. Table of Amendments
There are no amendments made to the Subordinate Legislation (Australian Grand Prix (Works) Regulations 1995 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2005 by statutory rules, subordinate instruments and Acts.
