An Act to make it lawful to close up certain Streets in

the City of Perth.

[Assented to 21st December, 1875.

Preamble

HEREAS certain pieces of land in the City of Perth, more

particularly described in the Schedule hereto, have been hereto-

fore proclaimed public streets, and whereas it is expedient that the said

pieces of land should cease to be public streets : Be it therefore enacted

by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Depen-

dencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council

thereof, as follows :-

All rights of the

public to cease

1. All rights-of-way in and over the pieces or parcels of land official records as Lord-street to the street known as aforesaid as Moore- street, part of the street known as aforesaid as Brook-street, part of the street known as aforesaid as King-street, and part of the street known as aforesaid as Stokes-street, all in the City of Perth, and more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, shall henceforth cease and determine, and it shall be lawful for Her Majesty to deal with the said pieces or parcels of land as if they had never been proclaimed public streets.

SCHEDULE

All that public highway extending from Lord-street to Moore-street being one chain in width, and bounded on the north-west by the northern portion of Perth Town Lot w 86, and by Town Lots IV 37 and W 59, measuring together eight chains eighty-six links ; and on the south-east by the southern portion of Perth Town Lot w 86 and Town Lot IV 60, measuring together seven chains sixty-one links, containing three roods and eight perches.

All that part of Brook-street lying between the north end of North Plain- street and Trafalgar-road, containing about one rood thirty-one perches.

All that part of King-street lying between North Plain-street and Trafalgar- road, and containing about one acre twenty-three perches.

All that part of Stokes-street lying between North Plain-street and Trafalgar- road, containing about one acre one rood and four perches.
