Strata Titles General Amendment Regulations

(No. 4) 2000

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Strata Titles General
Amendment Regulations (No. 4) 2000.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation on the day after the day on which they are published in the Gazette.

3.             The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Strata Titles
General Regulations 1996*.

4.             Schedule 1 amended

After item 4 of Schedule 1 the following items are inserted —

“

5.      A fee payable under item 4 to the strata company is increased by 10%, if the company is required to remit GST for the provision of the service for which the fee is payable.

6.      In item 5 —

“GST” has the meaning given in section 195-1 of the A New

Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 of the

Commonwealth.
