Strata Titles Amendment Act 2001

An Act to amend the Strata Titles Act 1998

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Strata Titles Amendment Act 2001 . 2CommencementThis Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. 3Principal ActIn this Act, the Strata Titles Act 1998 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Section 83 amended (Contributions) Section 83 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after subsection (4) the following subsection: (4A)  If a contribution for which an owner or other person is liable under subsection (4) is not paid, the owner or other person is taken to have failed to comply with a requirement of this Act while the contribution remains unpaid.
