An Act to amend section 89 of the Strata Titles Act, 1973, to authorise the use of “land values” determined under the Valuation of Land Act, 1916, in relation to the valuation of strata lots for certain purposes. [Assented to, 15th December,

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1.      This Act may be cited as the “Strata Titles (Amendment) Short

Act, 1980”. title.

2. (1) Except as provided in subsection (2), this Act shall Commence- ment.

commence on the date of assent to this Act.

(2) Section 3 shall be deemed to have commenced on 21st

December, 1978.

3.          The Strata Titles Act, 1973, is amended by inserting in the Amendment

definition of “value” in section 89 after the words “unimproved 68 1̂97^°

capital value,” the words “land value,”.
