His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has
made the following Regulation under the Strata Titles Act 1973.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to increase and rationalise certain fees
payable to the Registrar-General under the Strata Titles Act 1973.
The Regulation is made under the Strata Titles Act 1973, including sections
28S, 141 and 158 (the general regulation making power, in particular,section 158 (1) (d)).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Strata Titles Amendment (Fees) Regulation
1996.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on l July 1996.
Amendment of Strata Titles Act Regulations 1974
The Strata Titles Act Regulations 1974 are amended as set out in
Schedule l .

Regulation 52
Omit the Regulation. Insert instead:
52 Fees payable to Registrar-General
The following fees are payable to the Registrar-General:
$
1 On lodgment of a plan for registration as a strata
plan, a strata plan of subdivision, a strata plan of
consolidation or a building alteration plan ..... 490.00
And, in addition, for each lot shown on the plan 53.00

And, if a plan lodged for registration as a strata plan is accompanied by an instrument referred to in Regulation 15 in which only 1 easement, only 1 restriction on the use of land or only 1 positive covenant is identified, irrespective of the number of lots burdened or benefited, an

And, if the plan is accompanied by an instrument referred to in Regulation 15 in which the combined number of easements, restrictions on the use of land or positive covenants is 2 or more, an additional..................................... 106.00 And, if the plan is lodged for registration as a strata plan of consolidation-for each folio of the Register to be consolidated, an additional 13.00 2 On lodgment of a substituted plan or any sheet
of such a plan ...................................... 53.00 3 On lodgment of an instrument referred to in
Regulation 15, in substitution for another such
instrument or part of such instrument-such fee
as would be appropriate to the instrument as an
original lodgment fee.
