s1 2 s4 Stock (Infected Area) Amendment (No. 1) No. 352, 1994 ˙ Short title 1. This notice may be cited as the Stock (Infected Area) Amendment Notice (No. 1) 1994 . ˙ Notice amended 2. This notice amends the Stock (Infected Area) Notice 1994 . ˙ Replacement of s 2 (Infected area) 3. Section 2— omit, insert— ˙ Infected areas 2. The parts of the State specified in the Schedule are virus pneumonia infected areas ( “infected areas” ).’. ˙ Amendment of s 4 (Movement of horses, donkeys and mules) 4. Section 4(2)— omit, insert— (2) However, subsection (1) does not apply to a movement— (a) for infected area 1— (i) within infected area 1—for receiving treatment at a veterinary hospital; or (ii) if it is necessary to move a racehorse or harness horse to an area or training facility, within infected area 1, usually used by the owner or person in charge of the horse for training purposes—to the area or training facility; or (iii) if the chief inspector issues a travel permit under section 21 of the Act for the movement of a horse, donkey or mule to a stated place for isolation, testing or treatment—to the stated place; or (b) for infected area 2 or 3—if the chief inspector issues a travel permit under section 21 of the Act for the movement of a horse,

After section 5— insert— SCHEDULE INFECTED AREAS section 2 PART 1—INFECTED AREA 1 Land in the City of Brisbane within the suburbs of Albion, Ascot, Balmoral, Banyo, Belmont, Bowen Hills, Bulimba, Camp Hill, Cannon Hill, Carina, Carina Heights, Carindale, Clayfield, Coorparoo, Eagle Farm, East Brisbane, Gordon Park, Hamilton, Hawthorne, Hemmant, Hendra (other than land mentioned in Part 3), Kedron, Lutwyche, Morningside, Murarrie, New Farm, Newstead, Norman Park, Northgate, Nudgee, Nudgee Beach, Nundah, Pinkenba, Tingalpa, Virginia, Wavell Heights, Windsor and Wooloowin. 1 1 Infected area 1 includes the localities of Breakfast Creek, Colmslie, Doomben, Eagle Junction, Hamilton Lands, Kalinga, Mayne, Meeandah, Myrtletown, Queensport, Seven Hills, Teneriffe and Toombul.
