Stock (Identification and Movement)

Amendment Regulations 2000

Made by the deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Stock (Identification and
Movement) Amendment Regulations 2000.

2.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Stock
(Identification and Movement) Regulations 1972*.

3.            Regulation 20C amended

(1)	Regulation 20C(1) is amended by deleting ", except where the animal is carrying a tail tag in accordance with regulation 80 of the Enzootic Diseases Regulations made under the Stock Diseases (Regulations) Act 1968, in which case the tail tag number shall be recorded on the waybill or other document".
(2)	Regulation 20C(2) is amended as follows:

(b) in paragraph (c) by deleting the full stop and inserting

instead —

; and

(d) where an animal is carrying a tag in accordance

with regulation 80 of the Enzootic Diseases Regulations made under the Stock Diseases (Regulations) Act 1968, the tag number.

(3) After regulation 20C(2) the following subregulation is

inserted —

(2a) In relation to cattle, a person furnishing a waybill or

other document on which the word "various" is
recorded under subregulation (1) is not required to
comply with subregulation (2) if the person is able to
provide an Inspector when required with other records
of the number, description, brands or earmarks, or
transaction tag numbers of the cattle.

4.             Regulation 2011 amended

Regulation 20H(2) is repealed and the following subregulation is inserted instead —

(2) The Registrar shall issue an identification exemption

certificate to an applicant only if satisfied that the

applicant intends to export the stock.

5.            Schedule 1 amended

Schedule! Form No. 7 is amended by deleting -Tailtag- and

inserting instead —

" Transaction Tag '-.
