Regulations under the Stock Diseases Ordinance 1933.

Ordinance 1933 hereby make the following Regulations.

STOCK DISEASES REGULATIONS.
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Stock Diseases Regula-
tions 1935.
2. All regulations., proclamations or notices relating to diseases in, or the quarantine of, large stock and sheep, made, published or given under the Stock Ordinance 1920 or under that Ordinance as subsequently amended, are hereby repealed,
| 3. | In these Regulations— " disease" means actinomycosis, anaplasmosis, anthrax, black- |
leg, cancer (malignant tumour) , cattle tick, contagious abortion, contagious mastitis, contagious pleuro-pneumonia (bovine), contagious pneumonia of swine, entero-toxaemia of sheep, fowl plague, fowl pox, fowl tick, infectious catarrh (avian) , infectious necrotic hepatitis (black disease), infectious ophthalmia, Johne's disease, mycotic dermatitis, necrotic enteritis (swine), piroplasmosis, pullorum disease (bacillary white diarrhoea) , sheep lice, sheep tick, spiro- chaetosis (av ian) , stickfast flea, swine erysipelas, swine fever, tuberculosis.
" stock " means any horse, cattle, sheep, swine, goat, dog, fowl,
duck, goose, turkey, or pigeon.
" travelling s ta tement" means a licence, permit, statement or other document issued under the authority of any legisla- tion in the State of New South AVales which allows stock to travel within the State of New -South Wales.
4. Wo person shall bring or send, or cause to be brought or sent, into the Territory any infected stock.
5. Stock from any State may enter the Terri tory provided either that they are the produce of the State of New South Wales or that they have been introduced into the State of New South Wales under the conditions of the Stock Diseases Act 1923 and any regulations made thereunder, and that they are accompanied by a travelling statement.
6. Upon arrival of any cattle in the Terri tory the owner of the
cattle shall send or cause to be sent or delivered to the Director, the
travelling statement which accompanied the cattle into the Territory.
7. When in the opinion of an Inspector any stock are infected
stock he may declare the land or premises upon which stock are kept
or detained to be an infected area, The declaration shall be in the
form of Schedule 1.
8. Any person who is guilty of a breach of any of these Regula- tions shall be liable to a penalty nof exceeding Fifty pounds,

Any person who allows, Buffers, or permits,- without the consent of an Inspector, any stock to enter or leave an Infected Area is guilty of an offence and liable to a penalty of One hundred pounds (£100).
