AN ACT to amend the Stock Diseases Act,
1895.
[Assented to 1st October, 1906.]
and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this presentBE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by andwith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council
Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1. This Act may be cited as the Stock Diseases Amendment Art, short title.
1906, and shall be read as one with the Stock Diseases Act, 1895,
hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.
2. Section four of the principal Act is hereby amended by Amendment of
| striking out the interpretation of the word " Disease," and inserting s, 4. | o. 34, |
| in place thereof the following :- |
" Disease " shall mean any contagious or infectious disease to which any animal is subject, and includes ticks, lice, or any parasite, except the disease of scab in sheep.

| Amendment of 59 | 3. | Section eleven of the principal Act is hereby repealed, and |
| Wet., No. 34, s. 11. | the following is enacted in place thereof :— |
11. Every owner of infected stock, or of stock suspected to be infected, shall, as soon as he has discovered that they are infected, forthwith give written notice thereof to the nearest inspector, and shall thenceforth keep such infected or suspected stock from coming into contact with other stock until otherwise ordered by'an inspector.

out the words " the principal officer of Customs," and inserting in
place thereof the words " an inspector."
