(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council. and in pursuance of section 2 of the Stuck (Chemical Residues) Amendment Act 1996, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 June 1999 as the day on which Schedule 1 [16] to that Act (in so far as it inserts sections 12C and 12E (2) in the Stuck (Chemical Residues) Act 1975) commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain amendments to the Stock (Chemical Residues) Act 1975 that concern the reporting of results of tests carried out to determine whether or not stock are chemically affected.
