s1 2 s4 Stock (Cattle Tick) Amendment Notice (No. 1) 2001 No. 172, 2001 1 Short title This notice may be cited as the Stock (Cattle Tick) Amendment Notice (No. 1) 2001 . 2 Notice amended This notice amends the Stock (Cattle Tick) Notice 1993 . 3 Replacement of s 7 (Declared protected area) Section 7— omit, insert— ‘7 Declared protected area ‘ (1) Each area marked ‘A’ in the schedule is declared to be a protected area for cattle tick. 1 ‘ (2) The areas are to be known as the central Queensland cattle tick protected area.’. 4 Replacement of s 55 (Area maps and information are public documents) Section 55— omit, insert— ‘55 Information about location of boundaries ‘ (1) The exact location of the boundary of each of the following areas is held in digital electronic form by the department— (a) a protected area; (b) the cattle tick free area; (c) a provisionally protected area; (d) an eradication area; (e) the cattle tick infected area. 1 For availability of information about the location of boundaries of declared areas under this notice, see section 55 of the notice.

s5 3 s5 Stock (Cattle Tick) Amendment Notice (No. 1) 2001 No. 172, 2001 ‘ (2) The information held in digital electronic form can be reduced or enlarged to show the detail of an area’s boundary. ‘ (3) The chief executive must— (a) keep the information available for inspection, free of charge, by members of the public; and (b) allow a person to take, free of charge, a copy of the information showing the detail of an area boundary. 2 ’. 5 Replacement of sch 1 (Queensland cattle tick areas) Schedule 1— omit, insert— 2 The information may be inspected at, or a copy of the information may be obtained from, the following places during business hours— • the department’s head office at 80 Ann Street, Brisbane • other departmental offices at which an inspector, other than an honorary inspector of stock, is employed.
