AN ACT to amend the Stock (Brands and
Movement) Act 1970-1979.
[Assented to 8 October 1980.]
BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
| 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Stock | Short title |

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Stock (Brands and Movement) Act 1970-1980.
| Section 538 | 2. | After section 53A of the principal Act, the |
inserted.
following section is inserted-
Marking of
| prescribed | " 53B. A person who is the proprietor of |
| stock. | stock prescribed for the purposes of this section may, and if required by regulation shall, cause it to be marked in the manner prescribed by the regulations. " . |
| Section 61 | 3. | Section 61 of the principal Act is amended |
| amended. |
in paragraph (a) by deleting "two" and substituting
the following-
" five ".
