AN ACT to amend the Stock (Brands and

Movement) Act 1970-1979.

[Assented to 8 October 1980.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Stock	Short title
and citation.

(Brands and Movement) Amendment Act 1980.

(2) In this Act the Stock (Brands and Movement)	Reprinted as
approved

Act 1970-1979 is referred to as the principal Act.	12 May 1977and
amended by Acts Nos. 42 of 1978 and 30 of 1979.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Stock (Brands and Movement) Act 1970-1980.

Section 538 2. After section 53A of the principal Act, the

inserted.

following section is inserted-

Marking of

prescribed " 53B. A person who is the proprietor of

stock. stock prescribed for the purposes of this section may, and if required by regulation shall, cause it to be marked in the manner prescribed by the regulations. " .

Section 61	3.	Section 61 of the principal Act is amended
amended.

in paragraph (a) by deleting "two" and substituting

the following-

" five ".
