s1 2 s3 Stock Amendment (No. 1) No. 21, 1996 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Stock Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1996 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Stock Regulation 1988 . ˙ Insertion of new pt 4A 3. After section 45— insert— ‘ PART 4A—DISEASE ERADICATION PROGRAMS FOR BOVINE BRUCELLOSIS AND TUBERCULOSIS ˙ ‘ Definitions ‘ 45A. In this part— “standard definitions and rules” means the National Bovine Brucellosis and Tuberculosis Eradication Campaign Standard Definitions and Rules, approved by the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Resource Management. 1 ˙ ‘ Application ‘ 45B. This part applies to the following diseases— (a) bovine brucellosis; (b) bovine tuberculosis. 1 A copy of the standard definitions and rules may be inspected, free of charge, at the Department of Primary Industries, 80 Ann Street, Brisbane.

s4 3 s4 Stock Amendment (No. 1) No. 21, 1996 ˙ ‘ Eradication programs ‘ 45C. An eradication program is established throughout the State for each disease. ˙ ‘ Carrying out the programs ‘ 45D. The programs must be carried out under the standard definitions and rules.’. ˙ Repeal 4. The order in council under the Act gazetted on 5 August 1989 at page 2989 is repealed. ENDNOTES 1.
