176 (1 ttPEltshtit r ANNO VICESIMO QUINTO ELIZABETHAE SECUIN DAE REGINAE No. 23 of 1976 An Act to amend the Stock Act 1915-1974 in certain particulars [ASSENTED To 2ZND APRIL. 1976] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as fo,llows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Stock Act Amendment Act 1976. (2) The Stock Act 1915-1974 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Stock Act1915-1976. 2. Amendment of Schedule II. The Principal Act is amended by, in Schedule II- (a) in clause 17A, omitting the words " where garbage is Fed to swine " and substituting the words " generally or of certain classes of piggeries, whether throughout the State or in a district or part of a district ";

Stock Act Amendment Act 1976, No. 23 177 (b) inserting after clause 17A the following clauses:- 17B. Prohibiting or regulating the feeding to swine at piggeries generally or at certain classes of piggeries, whether throughout the State or in a district or part of a district, of food refuse of any kind or any other material or substance. 17c. Prohibiting or regulating the movement of swine, for the purpose of slaughter, from piggeries licensed under this Act. 17D. Regulating the destruction and disposal of swine that have been fed food refuse of any kind or any other material or substance, where the feeding of such refuse, material or substance is prohibited under this Act.".
