AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Stock Ordinance 1934-1948.

THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Common-

, wealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal
l Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under

the Seat of Government {Administration) Act 1910-1955.

STOCK ORDINANCE 1957.

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Stock Ordinance short title

I Q C ' 7 * and citation.

(2.) The Stock Ordinance 1934-1948,f as amended by this

Ordinance, may be cited as the Stock Ordinance 1934-1957.

2. Section seven of the Stock Ordinance 1934-1948 is Rates,

amended—

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

(a) by emitting the word " fourpence "' and inserting in
its stead the words " One shilling "; and

(b) by omitting the words " two-thirds of a penny " and inserting in their stead the words " One penny half-penny ".
