No. 4 of 1936.

AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Stock Ordinance 1934.

BE it ordained by the Governor-General in and over the Com-Executive Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the monwealth of Australia, with the advice of the Federal Seat of Government Acceptance Act 1909 and the Seat of Govern-
ment (Administration) Act 1910-1933, as follows:—

1.— (1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Stock Ordinance cKon"1 *"''

1936.

(2.) The Stock Ordinance 1934 is in this Ordinance referred

to as the Principal Ordinance.

(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance,

may be cited as the Stock Ordinance 193 -1936.

2. Section four of the Principal Ordinance is amended— Definitions.

(a) by omitting from paragraph (c) of the definition of

" Owner " the word " or " ; and

(6) by adding at the end of paragraph (d) of the definition

of " Owner " the following paragraph :—

" ;o r (e) in relation to stock, the owner of the stock, and includes the person being the representative, manager, agent or superintendent of or for the owner and having the custody or control of the stock.".
