REGULATIONS
UNDER THE STEVEDORING INDUSTRY ACT 1949.*
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the Stevedoring Industry Act 1949.

Stevedoring Industry Regulations.
Citation.
1. These Regulations may
be cited as the Stevedoring Industry Regulations.
Commencement.
2. These Regulations shall
be deemed to have come into operation on the sixth day of October, 1953.
Fees
and expenses payable to Chairman or Deputy Chairman of Boards of Reference.
3. The Chairman or Deputy
Chairman of a Board of Reference appointed in pursuance of an order or award
made by the Court under the Stevedoring
Industry Act 1949 shall be paid fees, travelling expenses and fares in
accordance with the provisions of the Conciliation and Arbitration Regulations,
as in force from time to time, providing for the payment of fees, travelling
expenses and fares to the Chairman or Deputy Chairman, as the case may be, of a
Board of Reference appointed in pursuance of an order or award made by the
Court under the Conciliation and
Arbitration Act 1904-1952.
