Stevedoring Industry Levy (Rates of Levy)

Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and after taking into consideration the recommendations made to the Minister of State for Industrial Relations by the Stevedoring Industry Finance Committee established by the Stevedoring Industry Finance Committee Act 1977 with respect to the rate of levy to be prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 5 (a) of the Stevedoring Industry Levy Act 1977, make the following Regulations under the Stevedoring Industry Levy Act 1977.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations, other than regulation 4, commence on 6 April 1992.

1.2   Regulation 4 commences on 4 May 1992.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Stevedoring Industry Levy (Rates of Levy) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 4 (Rates of levy)

3.1   Item 1 of the table:

Omit “$1.40” from column 3, substitute “50 cents”.

4.   Regulation 4 (Rates of levy)

4.1   Item 1 of the table:

Omit the item.
