Stevedoring Industry Levy (Rates of Levy) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Stevedoring Industry Levy Act 1977.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 January 1990.

Rates of Levy

2. Regulation 4 of the Stevedoring Industry Levy (Rates of Levy) Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from subregulation (3) “49 cents” and substituting “$2.43”;

(b) by omitting from subregulation (3a) “5 cents” and substituting “25 cents”;

(c) by omitting from subregulation (4) “25 cents” and substituting “$1.25”.
