Stevedoring Industry Levy Collection Regulations2(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Stevedoring Industry Levy Collection Act 1977.

Interpretation

 1. Regulation 2 of the Stevedoring Industry Levy Collection Regulations is amended by omitting the definition of “Department” and substituting the following definition:

“ ‘Department’ means the Department of Industrial Relations;”.

 2. Regulation 8 of the Stevedoring Industry Levy Collection Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:

Manner of payment of levy

“8.

Payment of levy and amounts payable to the Commonwealth under section 7 of the Act shall be made by forwarding the amount payable to the Receiver of Public Moneys at the following address:

Department of Industrial Relations,

P.O. Box 519

KINGSTON A.C.T. 2604.”.
