Application for unfair dismissal remedy - jurisdiction - extension of time.

[1] An application for an unfair dismissal remedy under s.394 of the Fair Work Act 2009 was received by Fair Work Australia on 24 October 2011 from the Applicant.

[2] There is a dispute between the parties as to the date of the dismissal of the Applicant. However, the Respondent has indicated that it consents to Fair Work Australia granting an extension of time for the application for unfair dismissal.

[3] On the basis of the material presented to me, an extension of time for lodgement of this application until 24 October 2011 is granted.

[4] The file shall be subject to further programming with respect to the merits of the matter.
