[A ssented to 14 th D ecember , I960.] E it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, B by and with the advice and consent df the Legis­ lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:— P art I.—P reliminary . Short title. 1 . ( 1 .) This Act may be cited as The Statutory Salaries and Allowances Act of 1960.” Commence- (2.) This Act shall be deemed to have come into meat. force on and from the fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and sixty, and shall operate retrospectively accordingly.

' A cts , 1914 to 1959 ” ; V. P art —A mendments of “ T he P ublic S ervice A cts , 1922 to 1958.” / - j ■' II.— P art A mendments of “ T he L and A cts , 1910 to 1959.” 3. (1.) This Part II. of this Act shall be read as^ interpret*, one with “ The Land Acts, 1910 to 1959.” pSt n. (2.) The Land Acts, 1910 to 1959,” and this Collective Part II. of this Act may be collectively cited as The t,to' Land Acts, 1910 to 1960.” 4. Section twenty-one of The Land Acts, 1910 Amendments to 1959,” is amended— No!^0’ (i.) By repealing in subsection one the words “ four thousand two hundred and fifty pounds per annum ” and by inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words “ five thousand pounds per annum ” ; and (ii.) By repealing in subsection two the words “ three thousand seven hundred and fifty pounds per annum ” and by inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words “ four thousand five hundred pounds per annum ”. III.— P art A mendments of “ T he A udit A cts , 1874 to 1958.” 5. (1.) This Part III. of this Act shall be read as interpret*, one with The Audit Acts, 1874 to 1958.” Part in. ( 2 .) The Audit Acts, 1874 to 1958,” and this Collective Part III. of this Act may be collectively cited as The tl e' Audit Acts, 1874 to 1960.”

By repealing in subsection one the words “ three thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven pounds per annum ” and by inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words “ four thousand seven hundred pounds per annum ” ; and (ii.) By repealing in subsection two the words “ one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight ” and by inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words “ one thousand nine hundred and sixty IV. P art —A mendments of “ T he R ailways A cts , 1914 to 1959.” interprota- 7. (1.) This Part IV. of this Act shall be read as Part iv. one with “ The Railways Acts, 1914 to 1959.” Collective (2.) The Railways Acts, 1914 to 1959,” and this title. Part IV. of this Act may be collectively cited as The Railways Acts, 1914 to 1960.” Amendments 8 . Section seven of The Railways Acts, 1914 to No 5 24 **’V* 19159,” is amended— (i.) By repealing in subsection one the words “ four thousand six hundred and twelve pounds per annum” and by inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words “ five thousand four hundred pounds per annum ” ; and (ii.) By repealing in subsection two the words “ one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight ” and by inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words “ one thousand nine hundred and sixty ”. interprota t P io ar n t o V f . collective tlte' P art V.—A mendments of “ T he P ublic S ervice A cts , 1922 to 1958.” 9. 9 E li z . II. No. 40, 1960. Statutory Solarise and Allowances Act. 257 10. Section six of The Public Service Acts, 1922 Amendments to 1958,” is amended— V- (i.) By repealing in subsection one the words “ three thousand nine hundred and twelve pounds per annum ” and by inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words “ four thousand seven hundred pounds per annum ”; and (ii.)
