(1.) This Act may be cited as “ The Statutory short title. Salaries and Allowances Act of 1958.” (2.) This Act shall be deemed to have come into Gommenoe- force on and from the second day of December, onemen' thousand nine hundred and fifty-seven, and shall operate retrospectively accordingly. 2. This Act is divided into Parts, as follows :— Parts of Act. By repealing in paragraph (a) of subsection one the words “ three thousand six hundred and seventy-five pounds per annum ” and by inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words “ three thousand nine hundred and twelve pounds per annum ” ; (ii.) By repealing in paragraph ( h ) of subsection one the words “ three thousand one hundred and fifty pounds per annum ” and by inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words “ three thousand three hundred and eighty-seven pounds per annum ” ; and (iii.) By repealing in subsection two the words “ one thousand nine hundred and fifty-six ” and by inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words “ one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight ”.
