PAR'r [,- PRELIMINARY. 1. This Act may be cited as "The Statutory Short title. Salaries and Allowances Act of 1950." 2. This Act is divided into PartE!, as follows:- Parts of Act. Section twenty-one of *" The Land Acts, 1910 to Amendment 1949 , " I . S amended by repealm' g subsectI'Ons one and t wo Nofo. 1 1 G 5 e , o. V. thereof and by inserting, in lieu of those repealed s. 21. subsections, the following subsections, namely :- "(1.) The salary of the member of the Court designated as President of the Land Court shall be at the rate of two thousand three hundred and fifty pounds per annum. (2.) The salaries of the members of the Court (other than the member designated as President of the Land Court) shall be at the rate of one thousand eight hundred and fifty pounds per annum." * 1 G. 5 No, 15 and amending Acts. t 38 V. PART IlL-AMENDMENTS OF *" THE AUDIT ACTS, 1874 TO 1948." 5. (1.) This Part of this Act shall be read as one with *" The Audit Acts, 1874 to 1948." (2.) *" The Audit Acts, 1874 to 1948," and this Part of this Act may collectively be cited as "The Audit Acts, 1874 to 1950." Repeal of and new s. 2 of 17 Geo. V. No. 5. 6. Section two of t" The Audit Acts Amendment Act of 1926" (as inserted by subsection two of section three of t" The Statutory Salaries Act of 1948") is repealed and the following section is inserted in lieu of that repealed section, namely;- Salary of Auditor· General. "[2.] (1.) The salary of the Auditor-General shall be at the rate of two thousand three hundred pounds per annum. (2.) The salary of the Auditor-General payable under this section shall be a charge upon and be paid out of the Consolidated Revenue which is hereby appropriated accordingly." PARTlV.- AMENDMENTS OF" THE PART IV.-AMENDMENTS OF §"THE RAILWAYS ACTS, RAILWAYS ACTS. 1914 TO 1946." ]914 TO 1946." Interpreta. 7. (1.) Part of this Act may collectively be cited as "The Railways Acts, 1914 to 1950." Amendment 8. Subsection one of section seven of §" The Railways ~ f/ J~ o~ ~ ~ of Acts, 1914 to 1946," is amended by repealing the words No. 24. " two thousand five hundred" and by inserting, in lieu of those repealed words, the words" the rate of three thousand ". * 38 V.
