STATUTORY SALARIES ADJUSTMENT ACT.

Act No 36, 1955.

An Act to increase the salaries of the Judges o f ,Elizabeth ii,

the Supreme Court and District Courts and of certain other Judges and of the holders of certain other statutory offices; for this purpose to amend the Statutory Salaries Adjustment Act, 1953, the Constitution Act, 1902, the Supreme Court and Circuit Courts Act, 1900, the District Courts Act, 1912, the Public Service Act, 1902, the Western Lands Act of 1901, the Valuation of Land Act, 1910, the Industrial Arbitration Act, 1940, and certain other Acts in certain respects; to validate certain matters; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 4th November, 1955.]

T>E it enacted by tlie Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, A3 by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­ lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1 . (1) This Act may bo cited as the “ Statutory short title

Salaries Adjustment Act, 1955.”

(2) This Act shall be deemed to have commenced on the fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-five.

2 . The salary payable to the holder of an office sped- salaries of
