An Act to increase the salaries of the Judges of the Supreme Court and District Courts and of certain other judges and of the holders of certain other statutory offices; for this purpose to amend the Constitution Act, 1902, the Supreme Court and Circuit Courts Act, 1900, the District Courts Act, 1912, the Public Service Act, 1902, the Forestry Act, 1916, the Irrigation Act, 1912, the Western Lands Act of 1901, the Valuation of Land Act, 1916, and certain other Acts, in certain respects; and for purposes con­ nected therewith. [Assented to, 21st May, 1948.]
