This regulation amends the Statutory Instruments Regulation 1992 . ˙ Insertion of new pt 1 hdg 3. Before section 1— insert— PART 1—PRELIMINARY ’. ˙ Insertion of new pt 2 hdg 4. After section 1— insert— PART 2—INSTRUMENTS THAT ARE OR ARE NOT SUBORDINATE LEGISLATION ’. ˙ Insertion of new pt 3 hdg and pt 3, divs 1 and 2 hdgs 5. (2) Section 7(1), ‘3 and 4’— omit, insert— ‘3, 4 and 6’. (3) Section 7(2), ‘3 to 5’— omit, insert— ‘3 to 6’. s 10 5 s 12 Statutory Instruments Amendment (No. 1) No. 115, 1999 ˙ Exemptions from expiry—Act, s 56A(2) 9.(1) The Act or provision under which or in relation to which the subordinate legislation, or part of the subordinate legislation, mentioned in schedule 6 is made or preserved is subject to review. (2) Subordinate legislation mentioned in schedule 6, if not repealed on or before 1 July 1999, is exempt from expiry under part 7 of the Act for the period ending at midnight on 30 June 2000 (the “exemption period” ). (3) The exemption for an instrument of subordinate legislation ends if the instrument stops having effect during the exemption period.’. ˙ Amendment of sch 3 (Exemptions from expiry—legislation for which a replacement is being drafted) 10.(1) Schedule 3, heading, after ‘expiry’— insert— TO 30 JUNE 1999 ’. (2) Schedule 3, ‘Coroners Rules 1959’— omit. ˙ Amendment of sch 4 (Exemptions from expiry—legislation not proposed to be replaced) 11.(1) Schedule 4, heading, after ‘expiry’— insert— TO 30 JUNE 1999 ’. (2) Schedule 4, ‘Medical Assessment Tribunal Regulation 1987’— omit. ˙ Amendment of sch 5 (Exemptions from expiry—legislation substantially uniform or complementary with legislation of the Commonwealth or another State) 12.
