3 Statutory Bodies Financial Arrangements (Yambocully Water Board) (No. 1) No. 183, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This order in council may be cited as the Statutory Bodies Financial Arrangements (Yambocully Water Board) Order (No. 1) 1993 . ˙ Definitions 2. In this order— “Board” means the Yambocully Water Board; “commencing day” means the day this order commences; “first loan arrangements” means the terms and conditions set out in Schedule 1; “maximum private interest rate” means the rate announced by the Treasurer from time to time to be the maximum private interest rate payable by Queensland local authorities and semi-government bodies; 1 “second loan arrangements” means the terms and conditions set out in Schedule 2. ˙ Approval under s.22(4) of the Act3. Approval is given for the Board to borrow money, by the sale of debentures, under the first and second loan arrangements. ˙ Approval and guarantee under s.16 of the Act4.(1) Approval is given for the Treasurer to give the guarantee set out in subsection (2). (2) The Treasurer, on behalf of the Government, guarantees the due payment of all money from time to time payable by the Board under the first and second loan arrangements. 1 The rate is quoted on page QTC4 of the Reuters Screen.

The lender is the National Australia Bank Limited. ˙ Application fee 3. An application fee of $90 is payable to the lender. ˙ Purpose 4. The purpose of the loan is the conversion of the balance of a loan of $150 000 obtained for the Yambocully Creek Irrigation Development 1988 to 1989. ˙ Term of the loan 5. The term of the loan is 4 years. ˙ Rate of interest 6. Interest is payable on the loan at the rate that is the maximum private interest rate on the commencing day.

The loan is to be repaid by 8 half-yearly repayments of principal and interest as follows— (a) 7 equal instalments calculated as if the term of the loan were 11 years; (b) 1 final instalment.

The amount of the loan is $170 080. ˙ Lender 2. The lender is the National Australia Bank Limited. ˙ Application fee 3. An application fee of $375 is payable to the lender. ˙ Purpose 4. The purpose of the loan is the conversion of the balance of a loan of $300 000 obtained for the Yambocully Creek Irrigation Development 1986 to 1987. ˙ Term of the loan 5. The term of the loan is 4 years. ˙ Rate of interest 6. Interest is payable on the loan at the rate that is the maximum private interest rate on the commencing day.
