s1 2 s3 Statutory Bodies Financial Arrangements (Local No. 218, 1994 Governments) ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Statutory Bodies Financial Arrangements (Local Governments) Regulation 1994 . ˙ Application of Pt 4 of the Act2.(1) Part 4 of the Act (other than sections 22 1 , 29, 33 to 37 and the provisions already applied by section 47(2) of the Act) is declared to apply— (a) for local governments or joint local governments established under the Local Government Act 1993 ; and (b) for all financial arrangements; and (c) without limit of time. (2) However, subsection (1)(b) does not apply to financial arrangements to the extent that the Statutory Bodies Financial Arrangements (Local Authorities) Order 1992 applies to the type of unsecured financial accommodation mentioned in the order. ˙ Application of Pt 5 of the Act3.(1) Part 5 of the Act (other than section 48 2 ) is declared to apply— (a) for local governments or joint local governments established under the Local Government Act 1993 ; and (b) for all securities, investments and other financial arrangements; and (c) without limit of time. (2) However, subsection (1)(b) does not apply to securities, investments and other financial arrangements to the extent that the Statutory Bodies 1 Under section 440 of the Local Government Act 1993 , a local government may enter into financial arrangements under section 22 of the Act. 2 Under section 441 of the Local Government Act 1993 , a local government may invest money under section 48 of the Act.
