An Act to amend the Statutory and Other OfTiccs Remuneration Act, 1975. consequent on the enactment of the Transport Authorities Act, 1980. [Assented to, 1st May, 1980.]

Amendment.

BE it enacted by the Oucen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1.           This Act may be cited as the “Statutory and Other Offices Short title.

Remuneration (Transport Authorities) Amendment Act, 1980'’.

2.      (1) Except as provided in subsection (2), this Act shall t'oinnicncc-

commence on the date of assent to this Act. '

(2) Section 3 shall commence on 1st July, 1980.

3. The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act, 1975, Amendment

IS amended— 4, 1976. Sch. 2.

(a)	by omitting from Part 1 of Schedule 2 the words “Chief Commissioner (under the Public Transport Commission
Act, 1972).” ;
(b)	by omitting from the same Part the words “Deputy Chief Commissioner (under the Public Transport Commission Act, 1972).”;
(c)	by omitting from the same Part the words “Commissioner (under the Public Transport Commission Act, 1972), who is required by section 7 (1) of that Act to devote the whole of his time to the duties of his office, other than the Chief Commissioner and Deputy Chief Commissioner.” ;
(d)	by inserting at the end of the same Part the following words : —

Chief Executive of the State Rail Authority of New

South Wales.
