An Act to amend the Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act, 1975, consequent on and in connection with the enactment of the Metropolitan Water, Sewerage, and Drainage (Amendment) Act, 1983. [Assented to, 10th October, 1983.]

Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration {Metropolitan Water Sewerage and

Drainage Board) Amendment.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title.

1.           This Act may be cited as the “Statutory and Other Offices

Remuneration (Metropolitan Water Sewerage and Drainage Board)

Amendment Act, 1983”.

Commencement.

(1) Except as provided by this section, this Act shall commence on the date of assent to this Act.

(2) Section 3 (2) shall commence on the day appointed and notified under section 2 (3) of the Metropolitan Water, Sewerage, and Drainage (Amendment) Act, 1983.

Amendment of Act No. 4, 1976.

3. (1) The Statutory and Other Oflices Remuneration Act, 1975, is amended by inserting in Part 1 of Schedule 2 after the words “Vice-president of The Metropolitan Water Sewerage and Drainage Board.” the following words:—

General Manager of The Metropolitan Water Sewerage and Drainage

Board.

Deputy General Manager of The Metropolitan Water Sewerage and

Drainage Board.

(2) The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act, 1975, is further amended by omitting from Part 1 of Schedule 2 the following words:—

President of The Metropolitan Water Sewerage and Drainage Board.

Vice-president of The Metropolitan Water Sewerage and Drainage

Board.
