An Act to amend Schedule 2 to the Statutory and Other Offices Remunera- tion Act, 1975, as a consequence of the enactment of the Housing (Amendment) Act, 1982. [Assented to, 7th December, 1982.1

Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration {Housing Commission) Amendment.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title.

This Act may be cited as the "Statutory and Other Offices Remunera- tion (Housing Commission) Amendment Act, 1982".

Commencement.

(1) Except as provided by subsection (2), this Act shall commence on the date of assent to this Act.

(2) Section 3 (2) shall commence on the day appointed and notified under section 2 (2) of the Housing (Amendment) Act, 1982.

Amendment of Act No. 4, 1976.

3. (1) The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act, 1975, is amended by inserting in Part 1 of Schedule 2 after the words "Chairman of The Housing Commission of New South Wales." the following words:—

Chief Executive of the Housing Commission of New South Wales.

(2) The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act, 1975, is further amended by omitting from Part 1 of Schedule 2 the following words:—

Chairman of The Housing Commission of New South Wales.
