An Act to amend the Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act, 1975,

consequent on and in connection with the enactment of the Government

Insurance (Amendment) Act, 1982. [Assented to, 12th May, 1982.]

Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration {Government Insurance Office) Amendment.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows;—

Short title.

1.           This Act may be cited as the “Statutory and Other Offices Remunera­

tion (Government Insurance Office) Amendment Act, 1982”.

Commencement.

2. (1) Except as provided in subsection (2), this Act shall commence on the date of assent to this Act.

(2) Section 3 (2) shall commence on the day appointed and notified

under section 2 (2) of the Government Insurance (Amendment) Act, 1982.

Amendment of Act No. 4, 1976.

3. (1) The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act, 1975, is amended by inserting in Part 1 of Schedule 2 after the words “Member of the Government Insurance Office of New South Wales Board, other than the Chairman and any part-time member.” the following words:—

Managing director of the Government Insurance Office of New South

Wales.

Deputy managing director of the Government Insurance Office of New

South Wales.

(2) The Statutory and Other OflSces Remuneration Act, 1975, is further amended by omitting from Part 1 of Schedule 2 the following words;—

Chairman of the Government Insurance Office of New South Wales

Board.

Member of the Government Insurance Office of New South Wales

Board, other than the Chairman and any part-time member.
