An Act to amend the Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act, 1975, in relation to the Chairman and any other full­ time commissioners of the Ethnic Affairs Commission of New South Wales. [Assented to, 24th April, 1979.1

{Ethnic Affairs) Amendment.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1.           This Act may be cited as the “Statutory and Other Offices Shon title.

Remuneration (Ethnic Affairs) Amendment Act, 1979”.

2.      (1) This section and section 1 shall commence on the date Commence-

of assent to this Act.

(2) Except as provided in subsection (1), this Act shall commence on the day appointed and notified under section 2 (2) of the Ethnic Affairs Commission Act, 1979.

3. The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act, 1975, Amendment

is amended by inserting at the end of Part 1 of Schedule 3 the

following matter :— ScheduieS.

Commissioner of the Ethnic Affairs	The holder of the office if he is,
Commission of New South Wales,	pursuant to section 7 (2) (b) of the
