An Act to amend the Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act, 1975, consequent on and in connection with the enactment of the Energy Authority (Reconstitution) Amendment Act, 1982. [Assented to, 18th May, 1982.]

Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration {Energy Authority) Amendment.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title.

1.           This Act may be cited as the “Statutory and Other Offices Remunera­

tion (Energy Authority) Amendment Act, 1982”.

Commencement.

2. (1) Except as provided by subsection (2), this Act shall commence on the date of assent to this Act.

(2) Section 3 (2) shall commence on the day appointed and notified under section 2 (2) of the Energy Authority (Reconstitution) Amendment Act, 1982.

Amendment of Act No. 4, 1976.

3. (1) The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act, 1975, is amended by inserting in Part 1 of Schedule 2 after the words “Chairman and General Manager of the Energy Authority of New South Wales.” the following words:—

General Manager of the Energy Authority of New South Wales.

(2) The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act, 1975, is further amended by omitting from Part 1 of Schedule 2 the following words:—

Chairman and General Manager of the Energy Authority of New South

Wales.
