An Act to amend the Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act, 1975, consequentially upon the enactment of the Energy Authority (Amendment) Act, 1979, and the Electricity Development (Energy Authority) Amendment Act, 1979. [Assented to, 17th May, 1979.1

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1.           This Act may be cited as the “Statutory and Other Offices Short

Remuneration (Energy Authority) Amendment Act, 1979”.

2 .      (1) Except as provided by subsection (2), this Act shall commcnce-

commence on the date of assent to this Act.	ment.
(2) Section 3 shall commence on the day appointed and notified under section 2 (2) of the Energy Authority (Amendment) Act, 1979.

(a) by omitting from Part 1 of Schedule 2 the words ̂

(b) by inserting at the end of Part 1 of Schedule 2 the words “Chairman and General Manager of the Energy Authority of New South Wales.”.
