Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration (Corporate Affairs

Commission) Amendment.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1.           This Act may be cited as the “Statutory and Other Offices short

Remuneration (Corporate Affairs Commission) Amendment Act,

1979”.

2.      (1) This section and section 1 shall commence on the date Commence-

of assent to this Aet.

(2) Except as provided in subsection (1), this Act shall commence on the day appointed and notified under section 2 (2) of the Securities Industry (Corporate Affairs Commission) Amendment Act, 1979.

3.           The Statutory and Other Offiees Remuneration Act, 1975, Amendment

is amended by omitting from Part 1 of Schedule 2 the words

“Commissioner for Corporate Affairs.” and by inserting instead the sch. 2.

following :—

Chairman of the Corporate Affairs Commission.

Deputy Chairman of the Corporate Affairs Commission.

Commissioner of the Corporate Affairs Commission, other

than the Chairman and Deputy Chairman.
