(Deputy Clerks) Regulation 1998

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has

made the following Regulation under the Statutory and Other Offices
Remuneration Act 1975.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to add the positions of Deputy Clerk of the Legislative Assembly and Deputy Clerk of the Legislative Council to a Schedule of public office holders (contained in the Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act 1975) whose remuneration is determined by the Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Tribunal.
This Regulation is made under section 5 of the Statutory and Other Offices
Remuneration Act 1975.

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration
Act Amendment (Deputy Clerks) Regulation 1998.

2 Amendment of Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act 1975

The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Act 1975 is amended by inserting at the end of Part 2 of Schedule 2:

Deputy Clerk of the Legislative Assembly

Deputy Clerk of the Legislative Council
