THE STATUTES REPRINT ACT OF 193& [ASSENTED TO 11TH DECEMBER, 1936.] ,I ~- x THEREAS arrangements have been made for the P bl V publication commencing in the year one ream e. thousand nine hundred and thirty-six of an annotated reprint of the Public Acts of Queensland, with amendments incorporated, under the title of "The Public Acts of Queensland (Reprint) " : And whereas it is desirable that all courts and persons acting judicially should be empowered and directed to take judicial notice of the said reprint- Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- 1. This Act may be cited as "The Statutes Reprint Short title. Act of 1936." 2. In this Act- Interpreta- tion. "The Editorial Board" means the Board Editorial appointed for the purposes of the reprint; Board. A

"The reprint" means the annotated reprint of the Public Acts of Queensland, with amendments incorporated, proposed to be published in and after the year one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six under the title of "The Public Acts of Queensland (Reprint)." CoPy of (2.) A copy of the certificate of the Attorney-General ~ ~ r~ f:; : d to shall be printed with and incorporated in each volume of ~ ith and the reprint other than the index volume, and such : nct~ rporated certificate shall, in relation to any enactment contained ~ ~ pri~ t. in the reprint, be proof, until the contrary is proved, either by the production of the official volume of Statutes in which such enactment was originally contained, or otherwise, that the reprint correctly expresses and sets forth the law enacted by that enactment and the amendments thereof, if any, as at the date mentioned in such certificate.
