The Parliament of Victoria enacts:

1Purpose

The purpose of this Act is to revise the statute law of Victoria.

2Commencement

(1)Subject to subsection (2), this Act comes into operation on the day after the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

(2)The following items in the Schedule are deemed to have come into operation on the following dates—

(a)item 7.2 on 1 September 2006;

(b)item 57 on 10 October 2006; and

(c)item 61.1 on 1 December 2006.

3Amendment of Acts

On the commencement of an item in the Schedule, the Act specified in the heading to that item is amended as set out in that item.

4Repeal

This Act is repealed on the first anniversary of the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

Section 13A is repealed.
