An Act to repeal various obsolete written laws, to consequentially amend various written laws and for related purposes.

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

1. Short title
This Act is the Statute Law Revision Act 2006.
2. Commencement
| This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent. |

3. Repeal of written laws
| (1) | The Acts listed in Schedule 1 are repealed. |
| (2) | The subsidiary legislation listed in Schedule 2 is repealed. |

| The Imperial Acts (Masters and Apprentices) Adopting Act 1873 is repealed. |
5. Statutes (Repeals and Minor Amendments) Act (No. 2) 1998 amended
| (1) | The amendments in this section are to the Statutes (Repeals and Minor Amendments) Act (No. 2) 1998*. |

| (2) | Section 2 is amended as follows: |
| (a) | in subsection (1) by deleting “Subject to subsection (2), this” and inserting instead — |
“ This ”;
| (b) | by repealing subsection (2). |
