An Act to revise the statute law of the Territory
[Notified in ACT Gazette S306: 18 December 1995]
The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Statute Law Revision Act 1995.
Commencement
2. This Act commences on the day on which it is notified in the Gazette.
Repeal of Acts
3. The following Acts are repealed:
Canberra Institute of the Arts (Amendment) Act 1988;
Mental Health (Amendment) Act 1984;
Mental Health (Amendment) Act 1985;
Police Arbitral Tribunal Act 1947.
Amendments of Acts
4. (1) The Acts specified in the Schedule are amended as set out in the Schedule.
(2) The amendment of the Tenancy Tribunal Act 1994 set out in the Schedule shall be taken to have commenced on 1 January 1995.
