An Act to amend various Acts to express penalties for offences in penalty units in accordance with section 56 of the Interpretation Act 1987. [Assented to 15 June 1993]

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:
Short title
1. T h is Act may be c ited as the S tatu te Law (Penalties) Act 1993 .
Commencement
2. T his Act com m ences on the date of assent.
Amendment of Acts
3. E ach Act specified in C olum n 1 of Schedule 1 is am ended:
| (a) | by om itting from each provision of that Act specified in C olum n 1 the m atter (w herever occurring) specified opposite that provision in C olum n 2 of that Schedule; |
| (b) | by inserting instead the matter specified opposite that provision in Colum n 3 of that Schedule . |
