Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of, and Schedule 1.27 to, the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No 2) 1999, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 2 June 2000 as the day on which Schedule 1.27 to that Act commences.

Explanatory note
The object of this proclamation is to commence the amendments made to the University of
Newcastle Act 1989 by the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No 2) 1999.

This proclamation is made under section 2 (2) of, and Schedule 1.27 to, the 1999 Act.
