1997 No 147—PROCLAMATION

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section

2 of the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No 2) 1997, do, by this
my Proclamation, appoint 1 May 1998 as the day on which Schedule 1.9 to

that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence amendments to the Fair Trading Act 1987 that increase the membership of the Motor Trade Advisory Council, the Property Services Advisory Council and the Home Building Advisory Council, respectively, to 14 members.
