I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1992, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 10 November 1995 as the day on which the amendments to the Co-operation Act 1923 set out in that Schedule commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the amendments to the Co-operation Act 1923 contained in the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1992. The amendments relate to the fees and charges payable by a member of a society and to the alteration of the rules of a co-operative housing society by board resolution.
