I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1991, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 10 January, 1992 as the day on which the amendments to the Prisons Act 1952 set out in that Schedule commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the amendments to the Prisons Act 1952 contained in the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1991 which change the names of the positions of Director-General and Deputy

Director-General of Corrective Services to Commissioner and Deputy
Commissioner of Corrective Services respectively.
