I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1991, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 12th June, 1992 as the day on which items (1) and (3) of the amendments to the Commercial Tribunal Act 1984 set out in that Schedule commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced Provisions relating to the Commercial Tribunal Act 1984 contained in Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1991.

The provisions (items (1) and (3)) amend sections 22 and 36 of the Act and

relate to the service of notice of Tribunal proceedings outside New South Wales.

Item (2) which relates to the Tribunal’s power to award costs (section 32)

commenced on assent (17 December 1991).
