I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1991, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 10 April 1992 as the day on which items (1) and (2) of the amendments to the Parliamentary Electorates and Elections Act 1912 set out in that Schedule commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Proclamation is to commence the amendments to the Parliamentary Electorates and Elections Act 1912 contained in Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1991 relating to arrangements with the Commonwealth for joint electoral rolls that may be used for periodic elections for the Legislative Council, referenda, local government elections and matters such as jury rolls.
